Meet Arslan!
I finally made an expression sheet for my best(o) boy, Original Character (OC), Arslan! I wanted to show more of his personality through several expression, that can also serve for future reference. 🥰
Arslan is the kind of guy who makes friends, basically anywhere. He’s easy going, cheerful, extroverted, and generally a strong positive energy to be around. But, people categorize him as detached, aloof even sometimes guarded behind a smile. You’d assume a natural progression in getting closer to him by proxy of spending time together. But people eventually find a giant wall or gap between what they thought, and reality. Because there’s actually a lot more going on underneath.
The funny thing is, most of his relationships stay on the surface-level. Not because he dislikes people, but because he’s very selective about who he tells the full story.
He’s learned that being fun, easy going guy, is a lot easier than having to explain the parts of his past he’d rather keep private. It’s the type of thing that makes a room run cold. (No it doesn’t involve una-living anyone)
However, those stories are generally kept for people he truly trusts and cares for. Like Eiden, for example. Even Rexford at the cost of Arslan regret it though.
So yeah… sunshine boy. ☀️
Just don’t assume you know everything about him.🖤

He isn’t hiding his happiness. He’s hiding himself.
Who are you when you’re not performing the easy going version of yourself?
A Great Wall was erected.
Someone like Eiden was willing to climb that wall. Someone like Rexford just kinda gave up.
Eiden eventually becomes someone Arslan doesn’t have to perform around. It’s a huge part of why the relationship matters to him.
Those happy faces are not fake. They’re just not the whole picture.
