[OC] – Evil Twink Ed’

more timelines, more weirdness and complications for no apparent reason, worst of all it’s a kinda spicy image, why am I like this?

PATREON/GUMROAD

Accidentally made a full (interlude) or (adjacent) timeline to LMG. And made Eduardo a bratty dom top in the process.

This timeline starts in the middle of LMG part 1 and 2, so it’s a trilogy now?

I share more with you below!

I kinda ended up hating this one by the end of it – oh well.

So, I can not fathom for the life of me why exactly a whole bunch of new lore dropped on this mild spicy drawing of Ed’. Initially I think it was me being dissatisfied with his hair, so I gave him a mullet thinking about Arslan. And then I started thinking about wanting to give him a scar, and I thought it could be a workplace scar, then I thought what kind of workplace would give him a scar. And my mind immediately went to blue collared job. But to fit all that I guess I needed a new timeline.

Overwhelming Lore

Okay – So just so we’re all on the same page. Love Made Gravity, is the second Verse in the Anamnesis//Compendium. Basically think (dot)/hack meets Fate/Stay Night. As you go through the story more and more gets revealed, backstories and events told previously take on a new life as the story progress through its different routes. Okay – got all that?

Part 1 – Overview

LMG is the Verse where Eiden finally gets what he wants, a relationship with Eduardo or Ed’ for short, his longtime real world unrequited university crush. Part 1 takes place when both of them are around 21 years old, and part 2 takes place 10 years later, when both of them are in their 30’s. So we get to see both parts of the relationship. One where Eiden is naive about romance and Ed’ guides him in a sort of I’m more experienced than you and therefore better than you sort of way. This is Timeline A.

Timeline C, is where Eiden has a little more experience and has become mature about boundaries, expectations and overall emotional intelligence. So Ed needs to compromise and dive deeper into what he himself wants from a deeper relationship, Ed realizes that the script has been flipped in the second part (TC), and must meet Eiden and at his level, he must dive deeper into what makes a relationship actually work, not just the superficial stuff, where part 1 (TA) is the other way around.

The Yellow Hair Strip

The subtle not so subtle reference, there is another character that not so subtly has that same hair color. So what gives? At the start of part 1 from one day to another the yellow streak appears in Ed’s hair. After a series of events that diverge this timeline.

The party -> Eiden doesn’t drink -> becomes designated driver -> doesn’t crash -> Ed sleeps over and things go from there. The next morning the yellow strip is there and no one can explain why, eventually they just brush it off. But the weirdness lingers.

The real reason is that the simulation has deemed appropriate conditions for Ed to become a [False] Sun Vessel. An important detail as the rule of narrative must always have a Sun vessel. Even a false one. But a Sun Vessel non the less.

10 Year Gap

A sudden glitch, timelines diverge. In the real world Ed always had doubt, did he actually really like guys? The simulation interpreted this as a feeling that surfaces, Ed only had feelings for Eiden and no one else. But sometimes neural synapses and brain scans have a way of dancing through the collapse of wave functions.

So Timeline A ends, Ed takes the money and runs, essentially being an obedient servant to the simulation and staying put. Finds a quiet place far away from where anyone can see him and just stays there. Accepts his fate as the Sun vessel and realizes this is what he must do. To serve the one who controls the void. Only Eiden has the power to wield the power of the singularity. So if the simulation is saying do not move for 10 years – he obeys. His yellow streak stays the same. The simulation seems him worthy still. Things advance normally from Timeline A to C.

But then what if Ed thought about it for more than a second, what if he rejected fate and questioned the methods of the simulation. Must things really be done like this? Timeline B starts when Ed accidentally became a protagonist in this story, when he was never meant to be. The angels of The First Sphere seek only to control the void master by keeping subdued. Not make a new one. Ed’ doesn’t really understand the power that be beyond the veil of the sky.

Timeline B

10 years go by – what actually happened? How did Ed fight and rebel against the machine? Well to a not so good outcome. The simulation immediately hates him and deems him the most unlucky person alive. Ed’s parents suddenly reappear through the rule of narrative and start questioning Ed.

Why is he kissing another boy, wasn’t he straight? There’s a candid shot and everything. Ed panics, has he ever talked to his parents before this? Not once it seems.

This feels like deux ex machina. His parents kick him out that same Christmas night, nowhere else to go, he takes refugee with other homeless LGBTQ youth, a drag queen to tired to deal with Ed’s shit, a trans girl who is wise beyond her years. And a nonbinary who’s also mute. Ed finds himself in a commune house where he struggles to get work in his field of study and instead is forced to take a blue collar job, at one point his coworkers dump burning hot oil on his back after he won employee of the month, a glitch in the simulation, nothing good should happen to Ed in Timeline B, yet it does, the simulation corrects by exposing his sexuality at work, the men around him hate him, the boss turned a blind eye, the hospital made him pay out of pocket. Now he carries a scar.

Timeline B – The Reunion.

At one point 10 years go Ed rekindles with Eiden, if he can get back with Eiden maybe the timeline will self correct. Turns out it did – just not with him. The simulation spawned Arslan and named him the [True] Vessel of the Sun, in all his power Arslan quickly managed to win Eiden over and start a relationship. Arslan was summoned to this reality as a last hope kind of plan. And knows the truth about Eiden, but must not disclose it and has to act natural.

So when Ed rekindles the flame with Eiden he is met by a big golden gate. Ed being Ed, tests the limits and ends up getting beat up in a parking lot. Yes Arslan does the beating. Arslan does not believe in being poly,

Eiden eventually calms him down. Not without rushing Ed to the hospital. Ed just wishes to die during the ambulance ride, EMT’s have to restrain him. Then at the hospital what should be an intimate romantic scene becomes really weird and awkward because Arslan is there watching Eiden’s every move.

Arslan knows something Eiden doesn’t. If Eiden where to cheat it would give him a good enough reason to end the simulation and become into his power of the Sun Vessel taking the opportunity to seal the void seeker once again. Since Eiden would be weak and as the world ending apocalypse triggers, he would question is Arslan is actually the good guy, and would try to quickly understand the truth of the world. Way too quickly in fact. His raw power would leak out, madness style, and the singularity would only be false.

But that doesn’t happen – Eiden actually stays loyal to Arslan, complicating things even further. Arslan plays the silent villain in Timeline B, eventually his strength gives way and he gets a little carried away, justifying himself that Ed’ was nothing but a twink trying to get in their way. Arslan does the unthinkable and actually unalives Ed. From there things go downhill, the singularity turns to world tendency black. At this point it’s not worth it to keep the simulation running, Arslan blows the fuse and a black hole forms in the sky, once again trapping Eiden in stasis. Until the parameters are just right the singularity will shift towards a world tendency white. But that day is not today.

The story continues.

And well yeah that’s it! Hope you liked it, thanks for reading!
