Pascal Lino – since you’re here I thought I would go a little bit more in depth towards some of the things I teased on social media.
Reef Runners – Deep Dive
On social media I teased some of the projects started through the Save Earth Initiative Project. Now fully operated under the Reef Runners crew. I would like to dive a little deeper into some of those projects and megastructures! Let’s go!
Deep Oceanic Thermodynamics Research Station.
Located deep underwater, somewhere deep in the Atlantic Ocean, this research station, about 4 central parks long, serves as the earth’s main termal pump. During Spring Summer and Autumn this research station carefully monitors underwater temperatures, Helping the earth release stored heat into space. The station is powered by ocean current’s themselves.
Currently the station remains permanently closed, however a few crew members remain year round on the station to monitor ENSO current’s and activate the water pumps if necessary, bringing hot water to the bottom, while cold water reaches the surface.
However their operations remain minimal as long as earths’ temperatures remain within normal range. The station monitors earth’s temperatures worldwide in real time. Their operations have caused a massive bloom of coral reef’s across the world.
NEO Atmosphere Megastrucutre Project.
The Day earth got artificial rings, orbiting across the earth, the rings gently brush and clean the atmosphere, in the process expelling heatwaves before they can even happen. NEO has a smaller cousin that can be lowered through a hanging space cable, and sweeps heat across the earth’s floor. Used only in extreme cases.
Neo sweeps the atmosphere daily across the planet. And uses massive rotating motors that help earth’s natural cooling process. This project has massively reduced temperatures across otherwise arid regions. And has even began to help desert areas grow plants and trees again. It’s earth’s second lung. Sometimes referred to as the sky cleaner.
L1 Lagrange Point Solar Array
Orbiting close to Discovery the L1 Solar Array deflects UV light from the sun, before that light even reaches earth. Creating what can only be described as an eclipses that break the sky. Now usually understood as a natural phenomena such as the aurora borealis. The sky sees the shadow of the Solar Array. And thus breaks its light.
L1 point was chosen so that the Solar Array can be tidally locked with Earth, and thus provide shadow and help the earth cool down significantly. However the Solar Array only opens it’s sails once a month, and twice during summer. Causes for an ice age rose across the public if the sails were to be open 24/7. So the once a month approach was proposed.
Earth has significantly cooled down since its launch.
Deserts see temperatures in the negatives at night. And cities remain at comfortable temperatures all year round.
