Hi I’m back! I never actually left just had some life stuff happened. Had to go to the doctor to get my ears checked out but apparently everything’s fine (tinnitus), however during the hospital visit I fell and bruised my left foot. Thankfully It wasn’t major and I have been resting and healing during the last couple of days. I should be back on track by the end of week.
Anyway meet Lain, a New York City boy born and raised in Queens. He’s cool by default and without even trying, he knows all the hottest clubs and latest password protected coffee shops that are sure to become tourist traps in a couple of months. He’s a musician and plays several instruments. He’s quiet, humble, observant and unintentionally intimidating. He’s low-key, but respected by his friends. He’s one weakness is: He’s useless at recognizing any kind of romantic feelings from Rien.
Rien is the expressive one; Lain is the calm one. He’s one secret is that he’s actually way softer than he looks. Those tired eyes look intimidating but it’s because he’s a late night owl. His musical creativity sparking late in the death of night. Thank god he doesn’t play the drums. 😅
I wanted Rien to have a bf and have sort of been teasing him over the past couple of weeks. So finally here’s the design I settled on. Here are some more things about Lain for you lovely blog readers.
A very small, unexpectedly cute smile.
Most of the time his expression is neutral/tired.
Then Rien says something stupid.
And he gets this tiny little smile.
