After Christmas Arslan brings Eiden a gift to celebrate Three Kings Day.
Basically just using any excuse to give gifts to each other, Arslan buys new Sneakers for Eiden. The limited edition special drop his boyfriend likes.
Coincidentally Eiden also bought a new compression winter sports t-shirt and comfy sweatpants with a cool design for Arslan. That he can use at the gym.
They take care of each other like that.
Even if they’re small gifts, it’s things they’ll both use and might even share a bit.
Eiden travels abroad to visit Arslan’s family over Christmas break.
Arslan noticed Eiden had old sneakers that he had worn out.
Eiden noticed Arslan favorite shirt had some holes from being overused.
Arslan’s is always saying how much his mom loves Eiden, and even refers to him as his own son. It’s basically like spending Christmas in paradise with the boy Eiden loves.
For New Years Eiden takes Arslan to a fancy rooftop party with all of Eiden’s friends, Arslan gets a little rowdy with Rex and they both compete to see who can chug a barrel of beer faster. Eiden just watches from the sidelines with a cheeky smile. They’re total frat bros.
Of course it’s not about the material things, but being together and taking care of each other.
At the end of the day their friendship first and thus their relationship blooms.
