Arslan isn’t usually embarrassed by much, monsters, magic storms, ancient curses? He handles those without flinching.
But mornings?
Mornings are his true nemesis. Even though people consider him a morning person
He and Eiden had crashed at a safehouse after a long night of traveling. Arslan, half-asleep and stubbornly confident, decided he could get dressed without turning on a single light. After all, how hard could it be? He fights bandits for a living. He can handle pants.
Turns out he grabbed Eiden’s much smaller shorts instead of his own.
By the time he realized, Eiden was already awake in the doorway, biting his lip to keep from laughing. And Arslan normally composed and cocky, went bright red.
The mismatched socks?
Also not intentional. Arslan will swear forever that Eiden swapped them as a prank, even though he knows he probably just reached into the drawer without looking.
Eiden thought the whole thing was adorable. Arslan pretended it was no big deal… but his blush said otherwise.
And honestly?
It became one of Eiden’s favorite memories of him the morning the heroic Arslan, slayer of monsters and breaker of curses, lost a battle to laundry.
